Dallas Fly Fishers is a club for people who enjoy fly fishing. Our aims are to:

• Promote education and opportunities associated with the sport of fly fishing for all species which might be enticed by artificial lures.

• Support local charitable, educational, and scientific efforts with both financial and human resources. Targeted areas, for example, are Reel Recovery, Casting for Recovery, Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education Program, Boy Scouts of America, local schools and senior centers, etc.

• Create a fellowship among fly fishers in our area, and communicating and working with other fly fishers in pursuit of our common charitable and organizational interests and goals.

• Provide educational presentations and discussions to promote the conservation and preservation of our natural resources and the fish which depend upon them for their existence.

• Initiate and supporting educational programs in fly fishing including instruction in the arts of fly fishing and fly tying to promote the awareness and use of the wealth of published and electronically recorded materials devoted to the history, techniques, and enjoyment of fly fishing.

• Further public education about the true value of our game fish resources, encouraging the stocking of desirable game fish, and working with state and federal wildlife authorities in the furtherance of these aims.Type your paragraph here.
